What is Venetian Plaster?
Venetian plaster is a classically unique finish, consisting of limestone, marble dust and natural minerals. Venetian plaster applications include Marmorino, Travertino and Grasello. Originating from ancient Roman times and popularized during the Renaissance in Venice, it has a rich history in architecture and interior design.

How to
Venetian Plaster is applied with a stainless steel trowel in a layered fashion that creates a depth of texture, then either finished with a penetrative sealer or natural wax to protect the finish (sealer is invisible, wax crates a glossy sheen).
Effect
Venetian Plaster can range from highly glossy marble like finishes through to low sheen stone look finishes to highly textured finishes resembling rock or stone.
Colours
Venetian Plaster can be tinted to almost any colour and can be customised or colour matched depending on project requirements.
